I am the type of person who only sees black and white. There are no gray areas in my life. It's either yes or no, hot or cold, right or left . . . you get the point. So obviously I have fallen into a meal rountine that consist of the same menu every week. I am getting outside of my box. I made baked ziti Thursday.
I had never tasted baked ziti. In fact, when I told my parents (while visiting them for supper) what I was going to make for supper, they looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. Apparently I was speaking Italian so no wonder they were confused. I have to say, I struck gold with this recipe. It's easy, it's tasty, and we've had enough leftover to munch on for lunch the next day. Not a bad attempt.
I also tried an artichoke dip that I am the only fan of in my household. That's okay because I'm obsessed with it, and so there's more for me. After two successes, new recipes are screaming at me.
